STORY TIME
I read Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin this week. The book was great, and had a lot of real-life game references that I loved because I work in the gaming industry. But anyone would enjoy this book even without the video game background, because the novel focuses on growth in personal life and career path. I also finished reading Young Jane Young by the same author because I got so hooked on the first book I read, but this one was not as captivating for me. There is one other novel by the same author available in my e-book application, so I will give her another try still.

I don't think about it very often, but time does fly. It feels like yesterday that I was writing my new year resolutions for 2023, but we are again nearing the end of the year so soon. I need to contemplate to see if I have made sufficient growth at both personal and occupational levels this year.

At personal level, I have had a lot of big changes this year. The biggest one was definitely the wedding I had in August. This took a lot of my time and energy throughout most of the year, and I have been procrastinating to select my wedding photos for the album. I really should put an end to this so I can fully close the chapter of the wedding before the next year begins.

A big goal I set for this year was learning Dutch to take my integration exam to get permanent residency. I put this on hold for so long, and I am still on Chapter 8 of my textbook unfortunately. I will make up my mind if I plan to try studying on my own or sign up for a class soon.

Career wise, I have been thinking about this for a while. I will give it more thought and share with you guys next week along with updates on the above topics!

Monday lunch: chicken wrap with pomegranate

Monday dinner: Domino's was having a 1+1 pick up deal, so we went with pizza.

Tuesday lunch: The canteen food looked boring, so I grabbed pulled beef pita wrap nearby.

Meal prep of the week: Creamy chicken mushroom with fettuccine
I boiled pasta separately, and added the chicken cream after draining out the water when having this as a meal.

Wednesday office lunch: Pulled chicken mushroom risotto
This was quite similar to my meal prep by coincidence.

Friday dinner: Pork loin, sweet potato, salad

Saturday dinner: lamb rack with vegetables
I marinaded the lamb with loads of butter mixed with dill.

Creami concoction: Kefir, milk, frozen mango and pomegranate gave this beautiful gradation color
